First impressions: My blood approves by Amanda Hocking
by Amanda Hocking
Teenager Alice Bonham's life feels crazy after she meets Jack. With his fondness for pink Chuck Taylors and New Wave, he's unlike anyone she knows. Then she meets his brother, Peter. Even though he can't stand the sight of her, she's drawn to him. Falling for two guys isn't even the worst of her problems. Jack and Peter are vampires, and Alice finds herself caught between love and her own blood.
Caught between two brothers...hmm..The Vampire diaries...Katherine and Elena...:>;
I don't know about the entire book, but i know that the beginning,the middle and the synopsis of the second book wasn't anything special, but neither too boring.So..i might read it sometime in the future...After the exams are over.
The begging was kind of a turn off...and i guess that can happen if the girl almost gets raped,has a best friend that is NOT a bff, more likely the "hero" and Alice the side-kick.
There were a lot of things..small things that made me think...TWILIGHT(so..Twilight fans might want to check this one).The way her "friend" wanted the boy, but the boy didn't want her.The way all the other girls were crazy about him, including HER MOTHER (can you say..YUCK..), but not her.The way he(Peter) runs off after meeting her.
So...I didn't disliked it,but some things just turned me off.
P.S: I randomly picked this book to read...so, no synopsis that intrigued me..no anything.
